After a cracking first half performance at Swansea last weekend, Capoue was substituted at half time. This raised a few eyebrows as Capoue had been one of the star players. Most fans put it down to picking up a knock, attributed to an incident where the French midfielder was booked for lunging into a challenge in the 34th minute.
Looking at the Watford Observer's post match report, the substitution was put down to an injury.
WO Quote:
"An Injury to Capoue had seen Silva bring Molla Wague on at half-time and change to a back five, which saw Watford lose control of the game in the middle of the park."

However later that evening Deeney made a comment on Match of the Day which indicated that Capoue was not injured and in fact that team were also surprised with the substitution.
Troy Deeney MOTD Quote:
"Massive Credit has to go to the gaffer, Taking off Caps [Capoue] at halftime, If it had gone wrong, People would have questioned him, but he got it right."
Make of it what you will, I was surprised to see Capoue subbed at half time, as he was playing well and thought it must be due to an injury. In pre-season it was well publicised that Capoue and Silva had a disagreement it seems there might be some way to go to mend relationships here. Some will argue that the decision to sub Capoue was tactical, either way over the next few months we should see this roll on & play out.
